KICKERS RE-RELEASE THEIR ICONIC LENNON BOAT SHOE

Following their recent collaboration with Palace, Kickers are back for their own reworked version of their classic Lennon Boat Shoe, summer ready for 2020.

The Lennon Boat Shoe - arguably the French brand’s most iconic silhouette - is a classic moccasin boat shoe that has a chunky and robust sole, alongside premium suede and nubuck uppers. Unlike the vibrant neon colourways brought to us by Palace, Kickers have opted for a more classic approach with tan and dark brown colourways.

Originating from France in 1970, the story of Kickers in the UK began in the late-80s and throughout the 90s. It was about about more than just shoes, it’s also about a cultural footprint that spanned the nation’s most memorable music scenes and style tribes. Denim references like rivet-inspired eyelets and triple-stitch detailing, as well as the hanging fleurette, helped make Kickers shoes truly unique.
